Our First Year, 2018-19

Blaenau Gwent Public Service Board (PSB) published its first Annual Report, ‘Our First Year, 2018-19’ at the PSB’s Annual Conference held at the General Offices, Ebbw Vale on Monday 15th July, 2019. The report outlines the progress we’ve made towards delivering our five well-being objectives in our local well-being plan, ‘The Blaenau Gwent We Want, 2018-23’, over the past year.

The interactive report features a series of short video clips, including vlogs, footage from our Well-being Road Show 2018 events and also highlights the next steps for delivery and new proposals we will be considering in Autumn 2019.

The successful event brought together over 100 attendees from a range of difference partner organisations and wider stakeholders and featured key speakers from a range of local, regional and national partners (such as Welsh Government).

Part I of event highlighted the progress we’ve made towards delivering our five well-being objectives in our local well-being plan, ‘The Blaenau Gwent We Want, 2018-23’, and attendees enjoyed a showcase of some of the key partnership projects we had delivered over the past year.

Part II of the event focused on our well-being objective ‘maximising opportunities for prosperity’ and gave attendees the opportunity to consider ‘Future Skills: Using a Lifecycle approach’, following by an interactive marketplace and exhibitions.
