    The Blaenau Gwent PSB publishes its second Annual Report ‘Two Years of Progress’ today (30th September 2020), as agreed by the PSB at our virtual meeting on Monday 21st September and in accordance with the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.

  • Statement on Annual Report for 2019/20

    The PSB has a statutory requirement to produce an annual report each year on the progress made towards achieving the objectives set out in the Well-being Plan: The Blaenau Gwent We Want 2018 to 2023. In light of the ongoing challenges faced in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic the intention is to publish the annual progress report for 2019/20 in the Autumn of 2020, which is a little later than usual.

    Blaenau Gwent Public Services Board (PSB) has published its first Annual Report, ‘Our First Year, 2018-19’ outlining the progress we’ve made towards delivering our five well-being objectives in our local well-being plan, ‘The Blaenau Gwent We Want, 2018-23’. The annual report was launched at the PSB’s Annual Conference, held at the General Offices, Ebbw Vale on Monday 15th July, 2019.

  • An Area Plan for Gwent

    Each local authority and health board are required to prepare and publish a plan setting out the range and level of services they propose to provide, or arrange to be provided, in response to the population needs assessment. Area plans must include the specific services planned in response to each core theme identified in the population assessment.

  • Stakeholder Priorities Workshop

    In July 2017 over sixty organisations and projects in Blaenau Gwent came together to help shape the indicative priorities for future well-being in the area. The workshop allowed the Blaenau Gwent Public Services Board to get a better of understanding participant views, knowledge and experience of the ‘indicative priorities’ that have been developed so far.

    The New Blaenau Gwent PSB "Working together to create the Blaenau Gwent We Want” In order to comply with the Well-being of future Generations (Wales) Act, Blaenau Gwent has completed the transition of its Local Service Board to a Public Service Board. It exists to improve the economic, social, environmental and cultural well- being of the people living in the Blaenau Gwent area.
